Saskatchewan – Lithium
White Metal Project
Located in north central Saskatchewan, the White Metal project consists of 8 claims totaling 38,765ha. The Project is located 40km of Stony Rapids, a road-accessible town home to a regional airport. The claims were originally staked for their lithium prospectivity by geologist Steve Blower, a 17-year discovery veteran of northern Saskatchewan.
White Metal sits on top of the highest concentration of lake sediment samples anomalous for lithium pathfinder elements cesium, rubidium, and tantalum in the province. In addition to having incredibly attractive geochemistry for LCT-pegmatite exploration, there are several known pegmatite occurrences on and adjacent to the project that contain anomalous values of lithium up to 271ppm Li.

White Metal has significant bedrock exposure that is expected to make for efficient pegmatite exploration and Targa is currently developing the Phase 1 exploration plans for later in 2023.
