Harricana Project
Harricana is located in the Northern Abitibi region of Western Quebec. The project is made up of four claim blocks totalling 26,339ha and covers a historic beryl-bearing pegmatite dyke with other beryliferous pegmatites historically noted nearby.
Favourable Geology
- Located in the Northern Abitibi region
- Known beryl-bearing pegmatite showings occur along the banks of the Harricana River in Northern Quebec
- The beryl occurs in prismatic, 5 cm long crystals and are a good indicator of fractionated melts and lithium bearing pegmatitesLittle additional exploration has been completed since the 1960’s
- The Harricana Project contains a beryl showing and the extension of beryl-bearing geology adjacent to the Harricana River
