TARGA ANNOUNCES NON-BROKERED PRIVATE PLACEMENT
TARGA FINDS UP TO 6.7G/T AU IN BOULDERS AT OPINACA GOLD PROJECT
TARGA FIELD TEAM RETURNS TO OPINACA GOLD PROJECT
Opinaca Project
Opinaca covers >85,000ha of ground in the Canadian province of Quebec where recent till sampling identified a significant gold anomaly measuring 5km x 4km in size.

2023 FIELD WORK
In September of 2023 Targa conducted a regional till sampling program at Opinaca, taking 1,000 samples across the project. Results of that till sampling identified two distinct gold anomalies with overlapping Au/As/Sb/W as well as a lithium/cesium anomaly. The central gold anomaly measures 4km x 5km in size and remains open in the up-ice direction. Targa exercised its first-mover advantage in this region to stake more than 40,000ha of additional mineral claims after seeing the till sampling results.
2024 FIELD WORK
Targa returned to Opinaca in 2024 to expand and in-fill the till sampling grid from 2023 resulting in the identification of a 7km-long anomalous gold trend. Elevated gold values in fine-fraction till sampling and elevated gold grain counts from heavy mineral concentrate samples (HMC) occur all along and down-ice from this 7km trend line. Boulder prospecting in the target area during the fall of 2024 returned a dozen boulders with anomalous gold values (>0.1g/t Au) including a property high of 6.7g/t Au.
