TARGA COMPLETES NEXT PHASE OF WORK AT OPINACA GOLD PROJECT; IDENTIFIES HEADS OF TWO LARGE DISTINCT TILL ANOMALIES
Opinaca Project
Opinaca covers >85,000ha of ground in the Canadian province of Quebec where recent till sampling identified a significant gold anomaly measuring 5km x 4km in size.

2023 FIELD WORK
In September of 2023 Targa conducted a regional till sampling program at Opinaca, taking 1,000 samples across the project. Results of that till sampling identified two distinct gold anomalies with overlapping Au/As/Sb/W as well as a lithium/cesium anomaly. The central gold anomaly measures 4km x 5km in size and remains open in the up-ice direction. Targa exercised its first-mover advantage in this region to stake more than 40,000ha of additional mineral claims after seeing the till sampling results.
2024 FIELD WORK
Beginning in June 2024, Targa is launching a fully-funded exploration program at Opinaca to track down the bedrock source of the gold and lithium anomalies identified in 2023. The program will consist of additional regional and in-fill till sampling up-ice from the anomalies. A geology team will also be on the ground to prospect for mineralized boulders and outcrops with a goal of identifying the source of the till anomalies and future drill targets.
